Moran Mahila Mahavidyalaya in Moranhat, Charaideo, Assam, will host a National Seminar on ‘Breaking the Silence: Mental Health and Well-Being in Modern Society’ on March 27 and 28, 2025. The seminar is being organized by the college’s Department of Education and Department of English, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Alumni Association. The event is sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi.
The seminar seeks to bring together scholars, researchers, academicians, and mental health professionals to engage in critical discussions on the evolving challenges of mental health and well-being in today’s society. Key topics of focus will include the growing impact of mental health issues, strategies for well-being, and societal responses to mental health challenges in modern life.
The organizing committee invites academicians, researchers, faculty members, students, and mental health professionals from educational institutions, research organizations, and government bodies to submit their research papers. The seminar will provide a platform for sharing innovative ideas and research findings in the field of mental health.
