Mandya district police, in partnership with the Vilcart Foundation from Bengaluru, conducted a workshop on ‘Positive Attitude for Healthy Mind’ for its police officials on Tuesday. The session aimed to equip officers with valuable skills for managing work-related stress, fostering a positive mindset, and improving interactions with both the public and their families.
Sandeep B.H., the well-being officer for Mandya district police, emphasized that the training focused on enhancing the mental well-being of the officers as they carry out their duties and responsibilities. The initiative is part of an ongoing effort to support the mental health of law enforcement personnel, recognizing the unique challenges they face in their daily work.
The workshop featured key participants including Additional Superintendents of Police Thimmaiah and Gangadhar Swamy, along with Hemanth, the director of the Vilcart Foundation, and program coordinator Shivakumar, who all played significant roles in the event’s success. The training reflects the growing recognition of the importance of mental health support for police officers in the region.
