When thinking about your career, you need to see the big picture.
If you’re too short-sighted or too narrow, you can’t do big things.
A higher salary, for example, is not as good as a job with the opportunity to move up the ladder.
What’s the point?
Yogi Berra said, “If you don’t know where you want to go, you won’t get there.”
He was right.
You need to have a goal and plan accordingly.
You can always make adjustments, but you need to have a goal, a plan, and focus on that goal.
If you’re smart, opportunistic, adaptable and willing to work hard, you can do great things…
And financial success, of course.
2. Love Your Job Steve Jobs said in his Stanford commencement speech, “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.
You have to believe that every little bit of progress will connect you to your future.
This approach has never let me down, and it has completely changed my life.
The only way to do great work is to love what you do.
If you haven’t found your passion yet, keep looking.
Don’t go with the flow.
3. The Company You work for If there’s one secret to my career success, it’s this one.
Think of every company as a spaceship that might fly you to the moon.
Sure, you’re on the ship, but what if the ship can’t get you to the moon?
You can choose to work at an already successful company where there is room for improvement, or at a cool startup where you can become a generalist.
You have a choice.
You can try it.
4. How Much Do you Like to speculate If the choice is between the ability to get paid well through negotiation and the ability to create your own opportunities, I would choose the latter.
This ability will help you throughout your career.
5. How Hard You Work These days, it seems more fashionable to talk about how to work smart than how hard you work.
But you need both.
There is no success without hard work.
For a period of time, you should try your best to achieve your goal.
6. Your Attitude If you believe you deserve something you haven’t worked hard for, you may get it, but it’s not all you get, and it won’t be anything great.
On the other hand, if you earn everything you get, are willing to work hard to advance, and have a positive attitude about your job, then you will embrace success, that’s for sure.
The purpose of the company is to achieve the business, the closer you are to the core of the business, the greater the impact on the success or failure of the business, the more valuable you are to the company, the more opportunities you have to grow and improve, and the more money you can make.
1. You are not an island. You have to be connected to the world to be wonderful.
2. Think about what you can’t stand the most in life.
Write them down and simplify them one by one!
3. Think of the greatest moment of your life and write it down and put it on your wall to encourage yourself and tell yourself that I can do better!
4. Stop comparing yourself to others.
You are who you are, you are the best, you don’t have to be like them.
5. Pick one thing that makes you happy every day and do it.
When this becomes a habit, you will be happy every day.
6. Know what’s really important in life and try to bring it into your life.
7. Fear is the flip side of confidence.
If you can conquer a “fear”, you can gain a “confidence”, right?
8. When you say to yourself, “I should have done better.”
Take a step back and say, “I can do better!”
