Psychological researchers have recently discovered this interesting phenomenon: when a man is around a lot of the opposite sex, women rate him as “attractive”;
But when there are no other women around, women rate him as less attractive.
Why is that?
Psychological experts believe that the first reason for this phenomenon is the mindset.
Because in our lives, people who are willing to be touched by the majority of people are attractive.
Second, women tend to judge masculinity not on the basis of facts, but on the reaction of their peers, believing in the judgment of their peers.
As a result, they are more likely to conform in behavior.
Of all the conforming women, some consciously accepted the judgment of their peers and agreed with them in their views and actions, showing that they not only believed the man was attractive, but that they actually believed it.
There are also some women, unlike the above people, who may not really agree with the judgment of their peers in their heart, but, influenced by the views of their peers or the majority of people, they will choose to agree on the surface when faced with the pressure of the group, and have ideas in their heart.
But in order to maintain harmony with others, usually will take the following actions: either change their own attitude, to be consistent with the majority of people;
Or give up superficial pandering and align yourself with your inner vision.
This gives rise to an expression we often hear in the present tense:
Women see men with the “herd mentality”, namely the sheep eyesight is very poor, can only see things that are near distant things it can’t see clearly, then had to follow in front of the sheep, and at present the only will follow that one walk in front of it, and as a result, the whole flock seems towards the same direction, can only follow the shepherd changing direction.
“Herd mentality” is to describe some people do not have their own ideas, the only criterion is to look at the actions of others first, any decision of these people is not through their own analysis, but based on what others do.
No wonder men always have a feeling: drought drought death, flood flood death!
