CHICAGO (WLS) — The South Side of Chicago is set to enhance its mental health services with the opening of the Ada S. McKinley Behavioral Mental Health clinic at Insight Hospital. This new facility aims to provide comprehensive support for individuals facing various mental health challenges.
The clinic will feature 20 private counseling suites and is designed to accommodate up to 250 patients each week. Services will encompass a wide range of mental health needs, including treatment for substance abuse, personal trauma stemming from physical or emotional abuse, and other critical mental health services.
An opening ceremony for the clinic is scheduled for Thursday at 9 a.m. at the intersection of 25th and Prairie, marking a significant step forward in expanding access to mental health care in the community. The establishment of this clinic highlights the ongoing commitment to addressing mental health issues and providing necessary support to those in need on the South Side.
