Voices of Hope has unveiled a new campaign aimed at breaking down mental health stigma, featuring six impactful lived experience stories that highlight personal journeys and struggles. These narratives share the experiences of courageous individuals, aiming to foster understanding and provide hope to others facing similar challenges. Each story offers a profound insight into resilience and recovery, with the goal of deepening empathy within the community.
The campaign is complemented by a redesigned website developed by FCB Aotearoa, enhancing engagement and accessibility for individuals seeking to connect with these stories of hope.
Genevieve Mora, co-founder and general manager of Voices of Hope, expressed excitement about the launch: “We are thrilled to release our latest set of lived experience stories and our revamped website. We’re grateful for FCB’s expertise, and both projects reflect our commitment to sharing authentic stories and creating a more accessible platform for our community. We hope these stories resonate with people from all walks of life.”
The partnership between FCB Aotearoa and Voices of Hope was facilitated by UnLtd Aotearoa, a social purpose organization in the media, marketing, and creative industry.
Sheryl Dunlop, general manager of UnLtd Aotearoa, noted, “This initiative exemplifies how our industry can leverage its skills to drive real change. FCB’s dedication to this project demonstrates a commitment to making a lasting impact across diverse communities.”
Lucy Sparks, business development director at FCB, added, “Supporting Voices of Hope through this website redesign has been incredibly rewarding. Our aim was to create a home for their collection of lived experience stories, helping the team reach more individuals with empowering messages of hope. We hope the new website serves as a beacon for anyone facing mental health challenges.”
