The Ottawa Senators’ annual charity golf event, aimed at raising funds for mental health initiatives for children and youth, returns this Monday. The Ottawa Senators Charity Open will be held at the Marshes Golf Club, located at 320 Terry Fox Dr., with players and staff from the team in attendance.
The event will commence with opening remarks at 9:45 a.m., featuring Senators owner Michael Andlauer and community foundation president Jacqueline Belsito. They will highlight the importance of addressing mental health issues and driving positive change.
Funds raised will support mental health programs across eastern Ontario and Quebec, including those at Youth Services Bureau, The Royal, and Fondation Santé Gatineau. Additional proceeds will benefit local organizations providing essential care to children and families.
The tournament, presented by Bell, is a premier golf event in the region and the only one featuring the Ottawa Senators roster. Bell is also the parent company of CTV News Ottawa.
