The Ontario government is allocating $2.3 million to the Kingston Integrated Care Hub to enhance mental health and addiction services in the KFLA region. “I am thrilled to see this funding for the Kingston Integrated Care Hub,” stated Ric Bresee, MPP for Hastings-Lennox and Addington. “Mental health is a crucial component of healthcare, and this investment reflects our government’s commitment, under Premier Ford, to improving healthcare close to home.”
This funding is part of a broader initiative, including over $45 million in ongoing support and $35.8 million in one-time funding, aimed at bolstering mental health and addiction services across Ontario. The investment will improve specialized services and programs in areas such as supportive housing, community mental health, addiction treatment, and Indigenous programs, ensuring that individuals and families can access the care they need for mental wellness.
