TULSA, Okla. — Leaders from Las Vegas municipalities, including the City of Las Vegas Community Services and Engagement Director, Neighborhood Services Director, and Councilman Brian Knudsen, recently visited GRAND Mental Health clinics in Tulsa. Councilman Brian Knudsen expressed the purpose of the visit, stating, “In Las Vegas, we are working to build a comprehensive mental health system, and what we found in Tulsa, particularly with GRAND Mental Health, is a model that truly works. We want to replicate successful strategies from across the country, and GRAND has developed an effective approach to addressing mental health and addiction issues.”
The visit focused on understanding the operational model of GRAND Mental Health, from client intake and assessment to implementing effective recovery programs. The Las Vegas team sought to learn about the various components of GRAND’s strategy to enhance their own mental health and addiction recovery services in Nevada.
