Darren Lewin, a resident of the Isle of Man, will set off on a challenging cycling journey to Paris today, August 16, in a bid to support Isle Listen, a charity dedicated to mental health for children and young people.
Lewin’s ambitious ride, timed to coincide with this year’s Paralympic Games, is expected to span approximately one week, with several planned stops along the way. His goal is to raise £2,000 for Isle Listen, which provides vital mental health support to individuals up to the age of 25.
In a statement to Manx Radio, Lewin highlighted the personal significance of Isle Listen, underscoring the importance of the charity’s work in supporting young people’s mental health.
