EUGENE, Ore. — Lane County is introducing a new mobile resource to address mental health crises with the launch of the Mobile Crisis Services program this Sunday.
The initiative, spearheaded by Lane County Behavioral Health, will deploy a team of trained mental health professionals who can respond to crisis situations across the county within one to three hours.
Currently in its pilot phase, the program will allow Lane County Health and Human Services to collect data and make adjustments as needed to refine the service.
