OLEAN — The Cattaraugus Region Community Foundation (CRCF) is now accepting grant applications for its Mental Wellness Fund, which supports mental health and well-being programs in Cattaraugus County.
The fund offers grants ranging from $500 to $1,500, with potential increases up to $4,000 for special projects that particularly benefit vulnerable or disadvantaged populations. Established in 2018, the Mental Wellness Fund has allocated over $18,950 in grants to enhance mental health services and support programs within the community.
“The Mental Wellness Fund has significantly strengthened the resources available to essential mental health service providers,” stated CRCF Executive Director Kirk Windus. “This fund is instrumental in equipping nonprofits with the tools needed to foster a stronger, healthier, and more resilient community.”
Applications are open until September 1. Contributions to the fund are also welcomed and can be made to the Mental Wellness in Cattaraugus County Fund.
