Broken Arrow is set to welcome a new state-of-the-art mental health facility courtesy of CREOKS Health Services, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive health, wellness, and social services. The groundbreaking ceremony for the facility, located at 2500 E. Hillside Drive, is scheduled for next week.
The $4.5 million project aims to address the critical need for mental health services in the area, particularly crisis stabilization for both children and adults. With plans to employ 130 professionals initially, CREOKS anticipates further growth as the facility expands its services to reach more individuals in need.
According to CREOKS, the clinic will offer a wide range of programs tailored to address various mental health challenges, alongside a family medical practice and a full-service pharmacy. This comprehensive approach ensures accessible and effective treatment options for residents of Broken Arrow and surrounding areas.
Expressing gratitude for CREOKS Health Services’ investment in the community, Amber Miller, Vice President of Economic Development for the Broken Arrow Economic Development Corp., emphasized the positive impact the facility will have on healthcare workforce growth and overall resident well-being.
Construction of the new facility is scheduled to commence this summer, with an anticipated completion timeline of 10-12 months. This initiative underscores Broken Arrow’s commitment to enhancing mental health resources and services for its residents.
