Benjamin Roberts, the mastermind behind Ukulele Death Squad and The Timbers, is gearing up for an extraordinary musical endeavor aimed at raising awareness for mental health. His latest project, dubbed the Concrete Connection, will see him perform on every street in Adelaide, all in the name of charity.
“I’m embarking on a unique journey to play on every single street in the Adelaide CBD,” remarked Roberts, highlighting the overarching goal to shed light on mental health issues.
In an interview with Sonya, Jules, and 891 ABC Radio Adelaide Roving Reporter Bobby Macumber, Roberts elaborated on the logistics of his ambitious venture. With a staggering 577 streets and laneways to cover, he plans to tackle around twenty-five locations per week.
