Notre Dame’s campus is set to shine a light on mental health with an upcoming event led by the Golden Minds initiative.
Scheduled for Wednesday night, Golden Minds, a platform dedicated to bolstering the mental well-being of student-athletes from Notre Dame, Saint Mary’s, and Holy Cross, will host its “We Hear You” event at 7 p.m.
The event aims to provide valuable support and guidance to student-athletes, with Caleb Campbell, a distinguished West Point graduate, former Army Officer, and NFL draftee, delivering a leadership message tailored to assist them in navigating the emotional challenges of high-performance sports. Campbell’s insights will focus on empowering athletes to sustain peak performance levels while nurturing their overall well-being and success in various facets of life.
Held at the Smith Ballroom within the Morris Inn, located at 1399 N. Notre Dame Avenue, the event marks a significant collaboration between Golden Minds and newly appointed board member, John Paxson. Paxson, a former Notre Dame basketball standout and NBA champion, joins Golden Minds founder Karen Phelps, daughter of esteemed Notre Dame coach Digger Phelps, in co-hosting the event.
