Additionally, a representative from the Manlius Police Department will address the audience on the impact of sextortion.
Sponsored by HEAL Onondaga County, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and creating awareness about substance abuse and mental health, the event aims to foster a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by adolescents. Community providers will also be present, offering resources and support to attendees.
This collaborative effort underscores the importance of a comprehensive approach to adolescent well-being, incorporating insights from nutrition, psychology, and law enforcement. By bringing together these perspectives, the event seeks to empower the community with the knowledge and tools needed to support the health and resilience of adolescents in the region.
