Prince William and Kate, known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland, recently visited two organizations in Scotland working to support the mental health of local young people. Their first stop was at Burghead Primary School, where they met with members of the Outfit Moray team and young people who have benefited from the organization’s outdoor learning and adventure programs that focus on building confidence and self-esteem.
Their next visit was to Brodiehill Farm, where they learned about additional efforts to support the mental health of local youth. They met with members of the Lower Speyside Young Farmers group and representatives from Farmstrong Scotland. These organizations provide opportunities for socializing and aim to improve individual mental health and physical well-being among young people, particularly in rural areas.
The royal couple’s visit underscores the importance of addressing mental health issues and providing support to young people in Scotland.
