Ryan Good, a long-time friend and former creative partner of Justin Bieber, has reportedly ended his relationship with the pop star due to Bieber’s ongoing association with pastor Judah Smith. According to sources cited by TMZ, Good, who once served as Bieber’s road manager and is the creative director of his fashion brand, Drew House, has not communicated with Bieber for over a year.
The break in their friendship began when Good left Churchome, a Beverly Hills-based church led by Smith, where Bieber continues to attend regularly. Good reportedly grew uncomfortable with what he perceived as cult-like elements of the church and chose to distance himself. His discomfort deepened as Bieber’s bond with Smith became stronger.
Tensions further escalated when Bieber appointed Smith to the Drew House board of directors. Insiders described this move as “weird,” noting Smith’s lack of business experience and his strained relationship with Good.
In the time since their falling out, Good has expressed concerns about Bieber’s behavior, including videos of the singer partying at Coachella and an altercation with paparazzi. Though they have not spoken, Good is reportedly troubled by what he sees in Bieber’s public appearances.
Sources close to Smith told TMZ that he holds no resentment toward Good and wishes him well. However, they confirmed that the two have not been in contact for about a year, and Good chose to step away from both the church and Bieber.
As of now, Bieber’s representatives have not commented on the situation. The ongoing rift has sparked public concerns about the singer’s current well-being and the influence of those in his inner circle.
