WARSAW, Poland — Benefit Systems, the company behind the popular MultiSport employee wellness program, has acquired a 69.8% stake in Wellbee, a Polish platform focused on mental health and personal development. The acquisition, valued at €7.8 million (PLN 33.7 million), marks the company’s strategic entry into the mental health space, complementing its existing portfolio of employee well-being services.
With the integration of Wellbee’s mental health services into its MultiLife offering, Benefit Systems aims to further enhance its employee wellness solutions. The move expands the company’s footprint in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), where its flagship MultiSport program already supports the health and fitness of over 2 million employees across the region.
Strengthening Employee Well-being
Benefit Systems, which has a presence in Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Turkey, is best known for its MultiSport card, which provides employees with access to a wide range of fitness facilities and wellness programs. By acquiring Wellbee, Benefit Systems is now broadening its scope to include mental health and personal development, addressing a growing demand for comprehensive employee well-being solutions.
The acquisition is expected to integrate Wellbee’s mental health services with Benefit Systems’ MultiLife platform, which offers corporate wellness programs tailored to employee needs. The combination of physical fitness offerings from MultiSport and mental health resources from Wellbee will provide a holistic approach to employee wellness.
